Draw an ellipse over the part that you want to be your cabochon, making the ellipse fairly wide. Step 3. Lock the ellipse and picture together. Step 4. Copy the picture and ellipse to your graphics program. Step 5. Draw a mask through the middle of your ellipse. Step 6. Invert the mask. Step 7. Paint the outside of the picture the same color as your ellipse. Step 8 Remove the mask Step 9. Copy the picture back into your publishing program. Step 10. Crop the outside of your picture close to the edge of your cabochon. Step 11. Go back to your original picture and unlock the ellipse and picture. Step 12. Delete the ellipse now you have your original picture back, plus the picture of your cabochon. Thus having your original slab and a picture of your cabochon and your slab. |
